a wonderful day of
celebrating with our
Cherokee family and
friends in Patterson,
Georgia at the five
acre Lions Club
Park, Saturday September
22, 2007. Many members,
friends, and visitors
from several states came
to participate and
share the joy of their
Native American Cherokee
heritage. Ages from one
to eighty-six years were
with us for this great
day. Our National Chief
Steven " Stone Bear
" Phillips came from
Lake Havasu City,
Arizona. Everyone was
quick to move forward to
shake his hand and get a
big powerful hug. He is a
Strong Man. He is a
intelligent man. He is
also a humble man. He sat
on the grounds with our
family and shared words
of wisdom and listened to
us talk. So tall, big and
strong and with a heart
of pure Gold.
Irreplaceable gifts given
in respect and
honor. We all joined
hands in a circle while
our National Chief "
Stone Bear "
thanked the Creator
that our hard work was
coming to fruitation.
